A “Charlotte” for Spring

One of my top makes for spring was adding another “Charlotte” Tunic to my spring wardrobe. When it’s still chilly in the mornings or evenings I throw on one of my favorite “Eleanor” Cardigans. This pattern comes together quickly and I am hoping to add at least one more to my summer wardrobe in a chambray or rayon.

I picked up this fabric at The Confident Stitch when I was in Montana visiting family and I can’t wait to go back every time we make a road trip up there!  It’s Rifle Paper Co. for Cotton + Steel. (You can find the fabric here) It is a quilting cotton which I don’t usually use for garments, but I decided to give it a try with this pattern. It was really easy to sew with and it is fairly comfortable. I have been wanting to get some of this fabric for quite some time and I am glad to have added quite a bit of Cotton + Steel to my fabric piles recently.
