Weekend Sewing Plans #33

Here’s my game plan:

  1. Do a little sew-along hemming sample prep for the upcoming “Plum” sew along. Dates will be announced next week 🙂
  2. Finish a really neat sewing basket pattern that has been in my WIPs for at least 3 years. It’s even partially cut out, I will probably be sharing a few peeks on Instagram. This is my year to finish things up and I am really trying to get a bunch of projects that I started and haven’t finished or have fabric set aside for finished up.
  3. Work on a lap quilt that has also probably been hanging around in my to-work on pile for several years. I am probably 50% done with the quilt top.

I spent most of last week doing computer things, taking the kiddos to swimming lessons, shooting photos for the sew-along, and one of the kiddos was under the weather, so things around here have been a little crazy at times with so much going on, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Luckily, I set up a new little sewing area where I can get some sewing done on the weekends. It’s going to be put to the test this weekend 🙂 Have a great one!

***This is a weekly blog series, where I share my sewing game plan for one of the days on the weekend. The projects will be shared throughout the following week on the blog.***
