Introducing the “Plum” Blouse

Plum main

The “Plum” blouse has arrived! I couldn’t wait to get this one off my drafting table and into your sewing rooms. The “Plum” blouse is an over-sized top that is fantastic for hot summer evenings.

“Plum” works best with wovens that have a nice hand and drape. Anything too stiff will create a very boxy shape. The neckline is high in the front with a scooped back neckline. This digital pdf pattern comes with a size range of XX-Small to XX-Large and two view options:

Plum Technicals for pattern testing

View A features no shoulder seams and works best with non-directional prints or solids. While View B features shoulder seams and can work with directional prints, solids, or color blocking. The neckline is finished with bias facing and the instructions show finishes for rolled hems and french seams. There are also serger finishing instructions. The “Plum” in the photos is View A.

Tomorrow, I will be sharing a tropical print “Plum” and the “Plum” pattern testers versions (which are totally amazing by the way) will be featured on the blog in the early part of next week.

You can find the “Plum” blouse in the shop today on sale for $7 USD until midnight MST June 21st.
