It’s here! The “Mirabel” Robe!

Mirabel lead

The “Mirabel” robe (knee-length version) is finally in the shop! It’s my first pattern release of 2016. This pattern has been in the works for almost a year and it was constantly being pushed to the back burner, but I am so glad that it is finished up and available in the shop.

mirabel pattern tester call

“Mirabel” features two sleeve options; short or long and is knee length. The size range it XX-Small to XX-Large and is rated at an intermediate sewing level. The robe is fairly easy to sew together, however, it takes a little bit of time, quite a bit of fabric, and for the collar construction it helps if you have a working knowledge of sewing which is the reason why I rated it at the intermediate level.

My favorite part of the pattern is the belt ties that don’t fall off because they are sewn into the side seams. Another feature of the pattern is the built in collar. As for fabrics for the robe, these are my suggestions: silk satin, silk charmeuse, satin, sateen, rayon challis, voile, french terry, cotton terry, waffle knit, chenille, cotton velour, fleece.
