Monday Mantra #23

**This is a weekly blog series, where I share a quote to be my “mantra” for the week. Along with other finds from around the web that I think are fascinating, inspirational, informative, or that just caught my eye.**

–  Happy Leap Day! Quick note it’s the last day to grab the “Evelyn” Clutch on sale in the shop for the Pattern of the Month!

–  I am a magazine addict (seriously I am out of control!), this post from Heather over on Closet Case Files is awesome! I am already a subscriber to several of the magazines, but I found a few more that I am going to have to check out.

–  Knits are one of my favorite substrates to work with and this post from the ladies at Girl Charlee on Sew, Mama, Sew is fantastic for helping to choose the right knit for your project.

– Thinking of trying out a smoothie bowl for breakfast to change things up a bit. Have you ever tried one?

– My love of bias tape for finishes is no joke, many of my patterns include it as a finishing option. This technique for making lots of continuous bias tape is on my agenda to try out. I really don’t think you can ever have to much bias tape!

Stretch bias finish over on House of Pinheiro is one my favorite finishes for garments.

Coming up on the blog this week: The March Pattern of the Month, some finished selfish sewing projects, and my weekend sewing plans.
