My mom’s birthday aka kzjostudio mom is coming up in just a few short weeks and one of the things that was on her list was for me to make her some new clothes. I needed to make a few updated versions of “Eleanor” so I decided to make them for her.
I set to work going through my fabric stash and found this awesome double knit that I had picked up earlier this year (one side is polka dots and the other is stripes, fabric found here). This version is the hip length with long sleeves in size Medium. It’s a little bit heavier due to the double knit, but it has a nice drape as well as being very soft.
One of the best things about this pattern is that it is such a quick sew. I managed to get two sewn up (the other will be on the blog later this week), plus a few other projects on a marathon sewing day on Saturday. My mom loves it! For her wardrobe, it is the perfect addition. You can find “Eleanor” along with all my other patterns in the shop.
