Right Now, May Edition

loving // spending so much time in the studio. I am working on a small collection of patterns that I am completely excited about. It has been a productive couple of weeks in the studio. Now, I will be logging lots of hours at the computer getting the upcoming collection formatted, illustrated, and ready for some pattern testers. 🙂

finishing // our wedding celebration invitations and getting them mailed out.  I love getting the response postcards back in the mail. It is making everything so exciting.

sewing // lots of muslins, (my favorite part of sewing muslins is drawing the corrections on them with sharpie. I just love it!)

drafting // patterns and the sketches for all the upcoming pattern names. I hand letter each one and then digitize it. No two are alike.

obsessing // over my wedding celebration to make list! I have most of the supplies and it’s time to start getting crafty for the big day in July.

craving // fresh berries, enough said.

reading // a book to the kids every night before bed. It’s a quick 15 minutes that we are loving.  It’s going to take us awhile to get through the book, but I adore that part of our evening routine and the best part the kids are loving it and look forward to it each night.

writing // up lots of pattern instructions for the upcoming patterns.

baking // nothing lately, just doing some cooking.

watching //  Botched, seriously obsessed with that show!!!

creating // a game plan for some summer adventures and ideas to keep the kiddos a little busy over summer break, which will be here before I know it. Plus, I will need to figure out a “summer workflow”.

listening // to lots of podcasts that I have been neglecting listening to since I haven’t been working out in the morning as much.
