Working on my Crafty Goals for 2014: A Knitting Finish!

Hat

For the next few weeks I am really trying to tackle my Crafty Goals along with my Goals for 30 since I will be 31 in just a few short months (then it will be time to make a new list!).

Here's where I am at:

So this month I finished up painting new artwork (small beachy pieces for the kiddos/guest bathroom) and I finished knitting this hat that I started last winter.

I love the colors in this yarn (some I picked up from Jo-anns) and of course the awesome pom-pom! Now we just need some colder weather so I can break it out in the mornings for school drop off. The pattern is The Hemingway Hat from Wool & the Gang

This was the second hat that I made and I just love the fact that it is simple as well as a great project for working on while devouring some Real Housewives. Now I need to get my self working on knitting some socks, I am thinking about using a sock loom (has anyone tried it!?).

I am making progress on lots of the other goals, but it's kind of hard to cross some of them off until it's my birthday  (like make more, I have been crafting/sewing/project-izing up a storm!)
