Studio Happenings: July Re-cap Edition

Already, I can't believe that we are four days into August. August is already on the roll of probably being the busiest month of the year for me between putting the finishing touches on my first pattern and kiddos heading back to school. I am just trying to savour the last fleeting moments of summer.

With that said, July was really pretty busy as well as productive in the studio and in life in general, too.

All that's left on the pattern is some technical illustrations, a round of pattern testing, and then it will be out in the world. I also managed to finish up some cross-stitching, lots of baking, lots of sewing, breaking out my bead loom (tutorial coming soon!), a Elsa costume for a lovely little lady with the addition of rhinestones, and lots of time at the computer in between.

The middle of the month also had family road trip to the zoo and an epic adventure at an amusement park! It was an awesome mid-week getaway and the time spent with my family always makes me so happy. I am sort of sad to see July go, but I can't wait to see all that August brings 🙂

I also wanted to give out a big "Thank You!" shout out to Anne from Craft Gossip for sharing my Yards to Inches conversion chart printable on their blog a few days ago. I hope everyone is enjoying it and I have a few more sewing printables that will be out in a few weeks with the release of the "Genavieve" pattern! Don't forget to sign up for the monthly newsletter (over on the right sidebar) to be the first to now when the pattern will be out along with some special subscribers bonuses.
