loving // taking time to really "soak up" what's left of summer. This past week has been filled with water slides, sleepovers, landscaping, a sunburn for me, and the start of swimming lessons.
finishing // The first 6 pages of my pattern instructions and working my way through technical illustrations for the last 6 pages (there are about 45 or so that are on my to-draw list). I am hoping to have it finished up by the end of the week and a call for pattern testers next week, so keep on the lookout for that!
sewing // an Elsa costume for a friend's daughter. All that's left is the cape and I must say it looks awesome so far, photos to come next week!
drafting // a small project list for back-to school making and starting the project list for Autumn and Christmas projects/gifts.
obsessing // over how well the kiddos/guest bathroom is turning out after I sort of land slided the decision to go with a Tropical-Nautical theme in there. Once beach/ocean scene shower curtain, an anchor, two paint swatches, a custom built towel rack (designed and made with love by my guy!), shells and about 3 more projects are going to round out the awesomeness. I can't wait to share the finished, but peeks are showing up on my instgram, so follow me over there if you aren't already.
wishing // that this last week hadn't gone by so quickly! I feel like I haven't accomplished even half of my to-do list from last week.
reading // blogs here and there.
writing // a few tutorials that will be going up over the course of the next couple of weeks.
devouring // homemade carmel corn!
baking // nothing really, just lots of yummy cooking this week. I have about 3 new recipes to add to the family recipe book 🙂
watching // Botched! I am obsessed with that show. Does anyone remember Dr. 90210. Seriously, epic!
creating // a book from our Mid-Summer road trip to the Hogle Zoo and Lagoon in Salt Lake City at Artifact Uprising. So far, I am in love and have been working on it in-between other projects.
listening // lots of older cds from high school and college days. I feel like summer is the perfect time for throwback music.
dreaming // of having a camp out under the stars on our trampoline we are in the process of setting up. Seems like the perfect way to end the summer before jumping back in to the school routine!
