since typepad was down for the weekend unexpectedly and is now back up and running (insert a big YAY! here) we can get back on track here on the blog!
It's no big secret that I am a holiday lover! Any holiday pretty much I love to go all out especially when there are so many fun things for kids. Knowing that easter egg hunts are something that the kiddos will eventually grow out of makes them even more special to me. Easter baskets however are going to continue for as long as possible as in forever! Just saying, I love putting them together and giving them away.
It was so much fun to see the kiddos running around finding the eggs. We went to a local park for the first Easter egg hunt and one Easter we held one at my parent's house for just the two kiddos. They loved that one so much and found all the hidden eggs plus the weather was great!
The Easter baskets were filled to the brim with candy, some toys, craft activities and each kiddo got something special. Some Lego's in one…
and my dad made a doll bed frame for me. After a little bit of spray paint it was ready to be jazzed up. So one afternoon in the studio I whipped up a mattress, fitted sheet, blanket and pillow. All to match S's room!
I love how it turned and her doll has been sleeping in it ever since well at night that is!
